Welcome to the website for the beautiful and scenic community of Tickle Cove, NL.Â
Located along the Bonavista Peninsula, Tickle Cove is a tiny outport that boasts a rugged coastline shaped by the sea and the friendliest of residents.
Settled in the mid to late 1700's, Tickle Cove has a rich history centred around hard work, strong community bonds, and the Newfoundland fishery. Due to the community's beautiful landscapes, we offer attractions such as our famous Sea Arch which is part of the UNESCO Discovery Geopark, hiking trails, and areas to lounge and take in the scenery. Our community is also home to Tickle Cove Pond - the site in which past events inspired one of Newfoundland's most popular folk songs. Tickle Cove has also been featured in movies, books, and other songs. This is truly a magical place, hence why it was featured in Disney's Peter Pan & Wendy as part of "Neverland".
