Having a "Time" 

The people of Tickle Cove and similar communities worked extremely hard to make a living, however, they certainly were not strangers to having some fun either. Check out this video that was recorded by Land & Sea showing a social gathering in the area, otherwise known as a "time" locally and across Newfoundland. The event was hosted in nearby Red Cliffe, but featured residents from Tickle Cove and other neighbouring communities. In this video, you will get a glimpse at what an event like this looked like in the 1970s featuring singing, dancing, games, instruments, strorytelling and more. What a time they had!
